Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Nurse Practitioner to join the team.
Role Summary
Nurse Practitioners (NP) are needed for parttime assignments in our Bedford Clinic.
Nurse Practitioners will provide assessments to our Veteran community.
We are flexible on the amount of days or hours you are able to work. (Min 4 hour shift to be negotiated)
Critical Accountabilities
Completed all required Veteran forms. Assessment forms would include all physical assessment ranging from spinal foot and toe internal organs breathing hearing etc.
Qualification & Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in the Nurse Practitioner role preferred. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply and may be considered.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Recent CRC (Criminal record Check) via CSI Screening
Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of clinical and nonclinical Field employees and interpret company policies. Strong track record in health teaching
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and demonstrated critical thinking skills
Able to perform and prioritise multiple functions and tasks related to clinical care
Provide proof of Covid19 vaccination as per provincial Covid19 Immunization and Management Policy. (All hires must have received a full dose series of a COVID19 vaccine approved by Health Canada)

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications
