Position Overview :
Our client is a private senior home care located in the city of Halifax Nova Scotia and is currently seeking experienced Registered
Nurses (RN) to join our care team. As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients with a
focus on assessment health education disease prevention and as well as early intervention and support for chronic health conditions.
RN participated in a teamcenteredJob duties :
Administering medications to residents
Assessing wounds and determining a course of treatment within the RN scope of practice
Supervising LPNs and CCAs
Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain plans of care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician or according to established policies and protocols
Monitor assess address document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
May supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
May develop and implement discharge planning process on admission of patients
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Nursing required
Licensed or eligible to be licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) required.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferably in the community home setting
Job requirement : Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate 's Degree in Nursing (Required) or (BSN) Bachelor 's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) Minimum 3 years of RN experience required Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and / or Multi State Compact License Upon Hire (Required) Completed Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Wide range of experience working in critical care specialties including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery.

Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required) or (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
