Job descriptionEstablish a tagging strategy to enhance visibility and accountability of cloud resources Ensure compliance with tagging standards across all cloud services Analyze cloud usage patterns and recommend appropriate Reserved Instances to optimize costs Provide guidance on purchasing strategies for RIs based on projected usage Develop standard reports and key performance indicators KPIs to track cloud spending and resource utilization Suggest chargeback and showback reporting mechanisms to promote accountability among teams Define shortterm and longterm financial goals related to cloud consumption and cost management Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial objectives with business strategies Assess cloud consumption patterns and identify opportunities for cost optimization Develop and implement a cost optimization plan that includes actionable recommendations 10 years of experience in financial management in cloud environment Proven experience in developing and implementing cloud financial strategies He should have experience in using Azure and AWS native Cost Optimization tools like AWS Cost explorer Standard reports etc Strong understanding of cloud platforms eg AWS Azure Google Cloud and their financial management tools Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
