Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities : Directs and schedules the work of all parts warehouse department employees Assists the Parts Manager in forecasting goals and objectives for the department including required inventory, pricing, ROI and profit marginsAssists the Parts Manager in analyzing sales, expenses, and inventory on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to maintain profit goals Assists the Parts Manager in maintaining a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts, and the “self-service” retail customerMakes recommendations on the pricing parameters in each category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyaltyMake recommendations and assists in Implementing aggressive marketing and sales promotions plans to increase parts department business for wholesale accounts and “self-service” retail customersProvides recommendation on individual parts inventory levels and manages the inventory to achieve maximum turnover in accordance with established goals Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence of parts in inventoryEnsures that all parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the factory Ensures the same high quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customersWorks with the service manager and body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobsAnalyzes departmental operations and storage layout and provides recommendation on revisions as needed for maximum effectiveness of inventory control, staff efficiency and public display Manages the parts delivery program to wholesale customers under the direction of the Parts ManagerMaintains delivery vehicles for delivery programFollows up on customer concerns and complaints promptly Escalates concerns and complaints to Parts Manager as requiredEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with other service drive departments and the sales departmentFollows up on parts department orders to ensure parts availability in inventory and ensures availably of all required parts and supplies to complete repairs in a timely mannerEnsures that proper safety equipment is available and being used properly by all employees in the parts departmentFollows all attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standardsFollows the Company Code of Business Ethics and ConductUnderstands and follows all work rules and follows directions from SupervisorsUpholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreementsMaintains a professional appearance for self and subordinates in accordance with company policyAttends pertinent training on requestAttends company meetings as requiredOther duties as assigned Warehouse Supervisor Requirements : High school diploma or the equivalent and five year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to five year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of one year’s experience working in a body shop or at an auto parts retailer or wholesaler. Prior supervisory experience preferredParts - CAIND-Parts
