Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Location: Arnprior, ON
Job Types: Full Time

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide a prompt, accurate, and friendly customer experience. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Collaborate with the Agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (asset not requirement)
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening.
  • Creative and critical thinking
  • Dedicated to providing world class client experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain)
  • Life License (preferred/must be able to obtain)

Salary $47,000 to $50,000 + commision

These positions are with an independant contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins Agent Network, not Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The agents' employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independant contractor agents are responsbile for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
