Our Energy subsector, a key component of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients from coast to coast. To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our teams located in any one of our Canadian offices, with preference for Calgary, AB; Moncton, NB; and Kitchener, ON.

As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer , you will work on mechanical engineering deliverables in collaboration with various disciplines to ensure we meet our project goals. You will support multiple types of clients—including Independent Power Producers, Municipal Electric Utilities, Investor‑Owned Utilities, Contractors, and Developers—and implement power‑grid systems of the future. You will work on a wide range of power plant technologies, including biomass, geothermal, hydrogen, renewable natural gas, fossil fuel, carbon capture, battery energy storage, and hydro.

What you’ll bring to WSP

Salary range (in British Columbia) : $96,200–$132,200. The final salary awarded may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
