Job Description :
Our client, a renowned name in the energy sector, is looking for a skilled Gas System Operator to oversee the safe and efficient flow of natural gas through their pipeline systems. This role ensures reliable customer service, optimal resource management, and safety compliance while operating on a 24 / 7 schedule .
What’s in it for You :
This role offers a salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 per year with additional benefits such as healthcare, dental, paid vacation etc.
What You’ll Do :
- Monitor and control pipeline pressures and flow rates using SCADA systems.
- Respond to system alarms and coordinate activities with field teams.
- Predict gas requirements based on weather forecasts, historical data, and customer needs.
- Act as the primary contact during pipeline emergencies and coordinate response efforts.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records of gas transactions.
- Collaborate with field personnel, customers, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Design and maintain SCADA screen displays and data tables.
