We are looking for a Chemical Laboratory Technology Student to join our Measurement & Gas Lab Team for a 12-month term. The position starts in January 2026 in Calgary.

As a Gas Specifications Management Technology Co-op / Intern Student you will be responsible for gas specifications management of ATCO Natural Gas Distribution system and the operation of all field and laboratory processes used for gas and liquid analysis. You will analyze natural gas samples for component identification related to odorization monitoring heat value measurement and gas quality control.

The successful candidate will be trained and mentored by the laboratory technician and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They will have the opportunity to showcase their self-motivated ability to embrace change in this field.
