Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Manager, National Assurance Standards who can work remote within any of our Canadian offices to join our National Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities :
Providing guidance and performing research to assist individuals in the Firm’s local offices on assurance and related services matters.
Providing consultation and assistance to assurance teams on complex matters.
Developing assurance and related services publications, manuals, and other practice tools for both internal and external distribution.
Striving for efficiency in reviewing forms and policies, ensuring that standards and quality are met on a national level.
Designing and delivering effective assurance and related services training programs for partners and staff, including live instructor-led training, web-based training, and virtual instructor-led training.
Developing or enhancing Firm policies relating to assurance and related services standards.

Your experience and education
You have a CPA designation (or foreign equivalent)
You have a minimum of 5 years (post designation) of assurance and related services standards experience
You have a strong proficiency in Canadian assurance and related services standards
You have experience in delivering training and presentations, including development of relevant materials
You have effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
You possess a basic understanding of other standards, policies and procedures including accounting standards (ASPE and ASNPO), risk management, independence, tax, etc.
