Reporting to the Alberta Sales Manager, this role is crucial in expanding our sales footprint and nurturing existing relationships. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of building strong customer connections, ensuring smooth service operations, and driving profitable outcomes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and manage an annual sales budget with quarterly forecasts, meeting sales targets and providing necessary reports.
- Source and secure new accounts through disciplined sales approaches, market evaluation, and regular visitations.
- Identify new sales routes to optimize opportunities and resolve customer complaints by developing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with accounting for credit approval and monitoring of accounts, ensuring financial compliance.
- Maintain open communication with sales and buying teams to ensure smooth account operations and assist fellow Account Managers during absences.
- Negotiate pricing with an awareness of market trends, supply, and product quality.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies with the Alberta Sales Manager.
- Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, and promotions.
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on market analysis.
