Position DescriptionAbout Our Church : Formosan Grace Christian Church is a Bible-believing, Christ centered church located in the east end of Toronto. We are a non-denominational church with Taiwanese, English and Mandarin congregations. Our Mandarin Ministry is composed primarily with mature believers. Job Description : In addition to preaching, teaching, leading, administration and pastoral care, the successful applicant will work together with our existing pastoral team and members of the official church board.Qualifications : A discernible and contagious personal faith in Jesus Christ.A strong personal spirituality grounded in prayer, study, and worshipFluent in spoken and written Mandarin ChineseAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishGraduate of an accredited Christian theological college or university with a bachelor’s degree or higherExperience in the development of church ministriesProficiency in teaching, preaching, discipleship and pastoral care generallyAbility to discuss and explain theological concepts and how to apply these concepts to our lives Responsibilities : Include but are not limited to the following : Spiritual Leadership – to inspire and to strengthen the faith of members and visitorsPreaching and teaching – Sunday services, group gatherings, prayer meetings and Sunday schoolVisitations and pastoral careDiscipleship training and CounselingEvangelizingAdministration – to participate in all types of meetings and ministries of the churchTo foster and encourage a spirit of unity both within the Mandarin Ministry and between the church’s congregations and leadership Application Submission : RésuméStatement of FaithRecorded (or links to) sermons If you feel that God is calling you to this position, please contact us at .
