Millwright (St Thomas, ON – Onsite)
Compensation Hourly- CAD $44.78/hr

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
A Millwright is responsible for supporting maintenance of the facility and the production equipment. Completing tasks in a safe and efficient manner in order to support the reduction of downtime on equipment and minimize the disruption to production and the facility in general is a top priority.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Support production with day to day troubleshooting
- Complete preventive maintenance as required
- Rebuild and install equipment as required
- Fabricate as required
- Fill in the appropriate information on the maintenance work orders when complete (ex. Hours, and notes / comments)
- Support in keeping the maintenance department clean and safe
- Willing to work a two-week shift rotation
HEALTH & SAFETY:
- Maintain a safe workplace
- Wear Personal Protective equipment as required on the shop floor
- Comply with the company policies, procedures, and OHSA (Occupational Health & Safety Act)
- Participation is required in our internal responsibility system (right to know, right to refuse, right to participate)
- Follow safe work and lockout / tagout procedures as required
- Report unsafe conditions or hazards as soon as possible to your supervisor
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Adhere to and maintain WHMIS 2015 requirements
- Annual medical surveillance may be required
QUALIFICATION:
- O.S.S.D or equivalent
- Industrial Millwright License (Red Seal)
- Certificate of Apprenticeship
- Successful completion of any pre-employment testing
