Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Millwright to join their team. As a Millwright, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence and ensuring the smooth functioning of production equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Millwright

Location: Maitland, ON

Pay Range: 47.79/HOUR

Shift: Straight days

What's the Job?

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and safety standards

What's Needed?

• Experience with installation and maintenance of industrial machinery
• 433A licensed
• Knowledge of PLC and DCS systems preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work straight days on a one-year contract
