Job description
Tomlinson's Materials Group is looking for a skilled individual to join the Maintenance Crew.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
-
Operating a torch and stick welder
-
Replacing plant components such as bearings, idlers, pulleys, belts, and sheaves
-
Repairing or replacing guarding
-
Repairing or building walkways and stairways
-
Replacing crusher and chute wear liners
-
Aligning equipment and installing bearing using specialized tools such as lasers, micrometers, and calipers
-
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic power units
-
Identify the root cause of failures and implement a thorough repair solution
-
Attention to detail and critical thinking are necessary for this position
-
Utilizing manual dexterity, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
REQUIRMENTS:
-
Valid G driver license
-
Capable of operating a service truck as required
-
Ability to work well with others
-
General knowledge of processing plant equipment
-
Ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a safe manner
