Merchandising Specialist – Flowers and Plants
Don't like the idea of sitting at a desk all day? Need to be out in the field meeting new people? Come join our dynamic team! Be part of a national sales and merchandising team. Flexibility-Variety-Competitive Compensation-Independence is what we have to offer with one of our Top Tier CPG clients!
About the Position
We are currently looking for a Independent Contractor to work independently at one retail location for around 2 hours per week.
About You
You are an experienced professional who has a strong work Ethic, can work independently and has an eye for details. You are well organized, enjoy fast paced work environment and love building strong business relationships. If you have experience as a Merchandiser in a supermarket, this is an advantage. You must have a smartphone and access to the internet. If you enjoy gardening and have a green thumb, this will be a great opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Performing merchandising tasks at multiple retail store
- Maintain sections including restocking and ensuring the dead plants
- Addressing any out of stock issues
- Cleaning our sections : dusting display fixtures, and in general
- Water the plants and the flowers
- Submit daily required visit reports / call reports.
- Visit the store three times a week
- Create and maintain a good relationship with the store manager
- Remove any dead leaves / blooms
- Remove any unsalable product
- Take photo of the display
