We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in London, Ontario. In this role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for patients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Responsibilities :
- Welcome patients warmly and create a positive experience from the moment they enter the office.
- Gather and maintain accurate patient information, ensuring it is properly recorded and updated electronically.
- Assist patients in connecting with specialists and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Respond to inquiries professionally, providing clear and helpful information.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring all details are organized.
- Greet clients and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.
- Support other team members with administrative tasks as required.
- Handle inbound calls with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized records and prepare printed documentation as necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar patient care or administrative role.
- Strong skills in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in handling electronic record management systems.
- Ability to effectively manage schedules and coordinate appointments.
- Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
