What you'll do
The Integrated Planning Management and Merch Analytics team owns the Integrated Planning processes. The team provides daily support to the Merchandise Planning Managers and Category Business Planners by creating and disseminating reports and supporting Thoughtspot. We use analysis and business knowledge to transform data into insights that can be actioned. We work closely with Category Business Management, Forecasting, Replenishment, Digital, Promotions and IT teams. We are constantly striving to challenge the way we think, improve the way we operate, and drive results. In this role, you will :
Be responsible for the management and handling of data.
Query, extract, and transform raw data from multiple data warehouses to conduct key insight and in-depth analysis of customer interactions across various channels.
Develop reporting dashboards to translate complex data into actionable insights across the organization.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise with an entrepreneurial mindset and provide scalable resolution with follow-through.
Steer ad-hoc projects that leverage multiple data sources.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Merchandise Planning Managers and Category Business Planners to resolve issues and implement improvements to the Integrated Planning tools and processes.
Design and build tools / reporting that is user-friendly and actionable.
Provide analytical support to the team.
Participate in CTR strategic initiatives impacting Integrated Planning processes and systems.
Proactively identify opportunities and deliver data-supported insights to Merchandise Planning to help improve the accuracy of Integrated Planning forecasts and key business decisions.
What you bring
B.S. in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Computer Science. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
3+ years of professional work experience in the data domain.
Direct experience with merchandise planning, operations management, and process improvement.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Database systems, Python, and SQL to perform complex data analysis.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
Experience with Data intelligence and visualization platforms such as Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or other tools.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical analytical specifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analytical skills with the ability to summarize and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Balance of technical and business acumen, including modeling and strategic business case development
Results-oriented, with proven project and time management skills (planning, prioritizing, executing, delegating, and tracking).
Experience with Knime and / or other data manipulation and visualization software is considered an asset.
Bonus points if you have : Experience with cloud databases such as GCP, Azure, Snowflake, etc
Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Access would be an asset
