What we are looking for

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Writer to join our team and lead the creation, organization, and maintenance of our Help Center to support both internal users and external users. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical writing and a deep understanding of creating clear, concise documentation for varied audiences. You will collaborate with multiple departments, receiving and refining content, managing documentation requests, and ensuring timely updates and publication of critical materials.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Act as a bridge between product development, engineering, and other departments to gather insights and requirements to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and meets the needs of our users.
  • Documentation Creation : Develop, write, and update internal and external user documentation, including product guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting articles.
  • Support external and Internal : Assist in creating resources that empower users to learn and navigate our products efficiently. Assist in reviewing and refining documentation provided by SME’s.
  • Manage requests for new documentation or updates to the Help Center.
  • Organize, structure, and categorize content to ensure easy access and usability for different user segments (internal teams, dealership users, etc.).
  • Process Optimization : Work with teams to streamline documentation workflows and requests, ensuring efficiency in how information is updated and distributed.
  • Review and refine documentation provided by other teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides.
  • Stay up-to-date on product updates and features to proactively create or update relevant documentation.
  • Content Standardization : Create and enforce documentation standards, ensuring consistency in tone, structure, and format across Help Center

Minimum qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and clear manner.
  • Experience with content management systems such as Zendesk, Confluence, or similar systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
  • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how to structure information for easy consumption
  • Ability to proactively seek feedback and continuously improve documentation quality
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing for software development or product teams
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Ability to create simple, compelling narratives from complex technical topics
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and support
