About the Position :
Reporting to the Director, Marketing, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong background in social media and email marketing to create compelling content that engages diverse audiences, including the public, investment advisors, and sophisticated institutional investors. This role requires expertise in managing social media communities, designing and executing email campaigns, and crafting impactful content that aligns with the company's thought leadership in Canadian real estate, investing, and finance.
The ideal candidate will excel at sourcing and creating content through their own research, insights, and collaboration with senior executives and key departments. They will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, email marketing tools such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact, and scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Later, HubSpot or Planable. Additionally, they will bring creativity and technical expertise to develop content that is educational, motivational, and tailored to highlight Equiton's industry leadership.
This role is perfect for a proactive professional passionate about learning and staying ahead of trends in social media, email marketing, and the broader real estate and finance landscape.
Key Functions and Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with key departments to develop and execute engaging social media and email marketing campaigns that align with brand strategy and goals.
- Utilize scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Later, HubSpot, Planable or similar platforms to manage social media content calendars and ensure consistent posting across channels.
- Use email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact to design, deploy, and optimize email campaigns, ensuring messages are visually appealing, personalized, and effective.
- Manage social media communities across all major platforms, fostering engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay informed about the latest social media and email marketing trends, tools, and best practices, continually applying new insights to enhance campaigns and content strategies.
- Identify key department needs, industry trends, and content gaps, developing innovative content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.
- Audit existing content across social media and email channels, identifying opportunities to repurpose and optimize content.
- Develop ad-hoc sales and marketing collateral, including social media assets and email templates, to support sales initiatives.
- Write and edit compelling, SEO-driven content for blogs, online ads, social media posts, email campaigns, and other digital marketing materials.
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, including webinars and conferences, ensuring promotional efforts are integrated across social media and email channels.
- Analyze performance metrics from email and social media campaigns, leveraging insights to refine strategies and enhance lead generation.
- Ensure all content, including emails and social posts, adheres to brand standards and voice.
