Job description

Mercedes-Benz Truck Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our service team specializing in Mercedes-Benz trucks and transport vehicles. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks while ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Mercedes-Benz trucks
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems
  • Service braking, suspension, steering, and hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions components
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service software
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections
  • Complete repairs according to Mercedes-Benz manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
  • Ensure work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Experience as a Truck Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Experience working on Mercedes-Benz trucks or similar heavy-duty truck brands
  • Strong diesel engine diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using electronic diagnostic tools and scan equipment
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own professional tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Mercedes-Benz / Daimler truck systems
  • Previous dealership or heavy-duty truck service center experience
  • Heavy Duty Technician certification or equivalent experience
