Role Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Field Reviewer to join our dynamic team. This role involves monitoring and reviewing on-site construction and installation activities, ensuring that mechanical systems are implemented in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct detailed reviews and inspections of on-site mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and standards.
  • Verify contractor work for quality, safety, and adherence to mechanical codes and regulations.
  • Perform routine site visits and prepare comprehensive inspection reports, highlighting findings, deviations, and corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure proper materials and methods are utilized in all mechanical installations.
  • Participate in site meetings to provide progress updates and address mechanical-related concerns.
  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in site inspection or a similar role, preferably in ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) building projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design standards, and building codes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
  • Certification in construction site safety is an asset.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Prior experience in mechanical systems design or installation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
