Job Summary :
Our client is a global Engineering Design and Project Management Firm. On the heels of successfully growing their market share during and post-pandemic, with greater than 24+ months of project pipelines, their Building Services group is expanding their Mechanical Engineering service line across Ontario. You would be groomed to be their next Mechanical Department Manager.
Job Duties :
Mechanical Engineering and Design including but not limited to :
- Heat transfer calculations
- Heating and cooling equipment sizing
- Pipe sizing and pump selection
- Sizing pipes for domestic water and sanitary drain systems
- Sizing duct systems for air distribution systems
- Control schematics and sequence of operations
- Layout of fire protection systems
- Feasibility studies and building condition assessments
- Communicate with clients, contractors and sales reps, prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplines
- Conduct field reviews and complete construction administration (shop drawings, RFIs, CCNs, monthly draws, etc.)
