Job descriptionCompletion of a diploma or degree in journalism, public relations marketing, business or a related discipline to the role from a post-secondary institution. One (1) to three (3) years experience in an equivalent marketing position in a related industry. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to work in an ever evolving fast paced environment, complemented by strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. Excellent writing and editing skills. Strong knowledge of social media platforms. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office program such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience working with Umbraco or similar CMS platforms considered an asset. This is a full-time position that is required Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications. This position qualifies for West Edmonton Mall’s 4-Day Work Week Program upon successful completion of a probationary period. Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator facilitates the execution of marketing campaigns for West Edmonton Mall’s Retail, Events, Hotels and Attractions portfolios, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and impact.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with implementing multichannel marketing campaigns ensuring deadlines are met and materials are accurate.
- Support marketing initiatives for Retail, Attractions, Hotels and Events portfolios, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Gather and organize data on campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute promotional plans that drive engagement and conversions.
- Work collaboratively with marketing team specialists (social media, graphic designers) to align messaging and deliverables.
- Draft, edit, and proofread a variety of content, including website copy, email campaigns, reports, and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate the updating of website content to ensure accurate information is readily available to guests.
- Adapt messaging for different audiences, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with brand voice.
