Job descriptionHave at a minimum an active Class 3 license (preference to Class 1) Pass a MVR and a Drug Test Experience operating a Ready Mix Truck or Gravel Truck in construction areas is preferred, but not required. Ability to perform manual labor. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required Willing to work in field and in all weather conditions Willing to work overtime (may include weekends) during the busy season (April to October) and on call as necessary. Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis. This is a safety sensitive position; selected candidate must pass drug and alcohol testing as required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Mission
Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a Ready Mix Truck Driver in Chetwynd, BC.
Main Responsibilities
- Must be able to safely operate a Ready Mix Truck.
- Complete driving assignments in a timely and safe manner.
- The applicant must be able to lift and move product sometimes involving strenuous labour.
- Ability to work extended hours & irregular days with irregular breaks.
- Will be required to maintain necessary logs, driving records and DOT certifications.
- Complete Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle.
- Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Perform a variety of tasks as needed or required when not delivering concrete.
- Must be willing to travel and work out town occasionally when required or necessary.

Compensation Data
The anticipated wage for this position is $37.68 / hour. The final compensation package will be determined based on factors including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
