Project Name :
1GX CoE PMO-One Stream
Project Scope :
Reporting to the Director, 1GX Strategic and Operational Excellence, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of IT projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, takes minutes, records any risks into the register, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
The position is responsible for facilitating the decision-making process of executive management.

The position interacts and consults with business clients, internal and external resources, the department s management structure and other stakeholders as required.
The Government of Alberta (GoA) replaced the legacy IMAGIS ERP Solution (MyAGent) with a new system (1GX) that was planned to reduce manual work, duplication, and help support government teams with data and analytics. 1GX is one of the biggest transformations ever undertaken by the Alberta Public Service (APS). 1GX is a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage our many business processes. The 1GX system did not bring complex scheduling and complex pay interpretation and this position is expected to lead the delivery of the project on behalf of the Business, Public Service Commission (PSC) and 1GX.
