Salary : $130,000–$145,000 + bonus + benefits
I'm hiring on behalf of a well-known luxury hotel brand in Whistler, BC, known for its upscale mountain setting, year-round adventure offerings, and exceptional guest experience.
We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead all property maintenance, capital planning, and engineering operations. This role oversees a large team and supports multiple departments to ensure the hotel is operating at the highest standard—both front and back of house.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily engineering operations and long-term capital projects
- Lead a team across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Ensure safety, compliance, and preventative maintenance programs
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and sustainability initiatives
- Play a key role in emergency response and property risk management
