JOB PURPOSEThe Power Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining a heating / power plant and auxiliary equipment.QUALIFICATIONS : Must hold a valid 4th class power engineer's license in accordance with the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act.Must have a valid drivers license.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Power Engineer 1 is responsible for : Operating, maintaining, analyzing and troubleshooting a boiler and auxiliary equipmentMonitoring and assessing environmental data and maintaining a fuel delivery systemAnalyzing and maintaining water treatment and distribution systemsOverhauling and repairing boilersMonitoring automatic controls within the power plantOperating, maintaining, isolating and repairing plant equipmentMaintaining grounds (snow removal and lawn care) and grounds equipmentPerforming minor repairs within codes and regulations such as plumbing, electrical and carpentry.Employees are responsible to be aware of and understand Horizon's Terms of Employment COMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY HORIZON HEALTH NETWORK : Attention to DetailCommunicationDecision MakingInterpersonal RelationsPatient / Client FocusProblem SolvingResults OrientationInterested?
