The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for supporting the hardware and software that form the backbone of the organizations business application environment. This includes managing and optimizing servers, storage, networks, and firewalls. The role encompasses tasks such as installation, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure the efficient operation of the infrastructure.
This is a 6 month contract with opportunity to extend up to 24 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management :
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, hypervisors, operating systems, and middleware.
Perform regular upgrades and maintenance of operating systems, middleware, firewalls, and wireless access solutions.
Manage backups and recovery processes.
Respond promptly to infrastructure incidents and problems to minimize downtime.
Design and implement middleware software solutions.
Apply process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the organizations infrastructure needs.
Qualifications and Skills
At least 5 years of experience installing and supporting hardware and software infrastructure in a corporate data center environment.
Firewalls
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
