About Paradigm Electronics :
Paradigm Electronics is a leading midsize manufacturing company based in Ontario, specializing in high-performance audio and home theatre solutions. Responsibilities and Duties :
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and jacks to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Install and troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery and plant systems.
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools.
- Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of industrial equipment.
- Repair and overhaul mechanical systems and replace and align moving parts as required.
- Set up and adjust complex machinery.
- Analyze information to perform maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication of machinery, troubleshooting, test running and proper operation of machines.
- Confer with management to recommend equipment changes and modifications and evaluate new equipment.
- Other duties, as assigned.
