Our Store Team Members are inspired doers. They help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the store is always ready with available products that meet customers' needs to live life well. Our Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products.

The Bakery Clerk is responsible for carrying out the position's full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement. Candidates with management experience will be considered for a manager-in-training role.

Job Description :

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs
• Keep work area clean and presentable
• Process customer Bakery orders
• Perform program execution and merchandising of product
• Handle and prepare Bakery products
• Increase store sales by actively promoting products
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
• Process department shrink
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
• Other duties as required
• Flexibility to work a variety hours which may include days, evenings, and weekends
• Able to move up to 50lbs and be in constant mobility for an entire shift, standing for long periods of time
• Bakery / Grocery experience required
• Knowledge of SAP operations an asset
