In this role, you will join an intimate, dynamic in-house creative team of three, helping to manage increased project volumes for both internal and external audiences.

This hybrid position offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a prestigious corporate environment, with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and business needs. Because this is a high-priority, time-sensitive role, we encourage interested individuals to apply promptly by submitting their resume and portfolio.

Advantages
Top-Tier Corporate Experience: Gain experience with a leading organization in the financial sector.

Long-Term Stability: 14-month initial contract with a strong possibility of extension or permanent conversion.

Collaborative Culture: Work within a tight-knit, supportive 3-person team environment.

Structured Onboarding: Receive a full week of dedicated training to set you up for success.

Work-Life Balance: Standard Monday to Friday schedule (9 AM – 5 PM) with a hybrid work model (4 days onsite in downtown Toronto, 1 day remote) and no required overtime.

Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts and working within existing templates with a high degree of accuracy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Collaborating directly with internal business partners and stakeholders to develop high-quality marketing materials, including sales tools, pitch decks, and brochures.

Ensuring all creative outputs are strictly aligned with corporate brand guidelines and strategic objectives.

Managing projects holistically, from conducting initial creative briefs with internal stakeholders to coordinating final printing and delivery with external vendors.

Designing a wide variety of materials, including creative concepts, event branding, marketing collateral, high-impact PowerPoint presentations, and UX/UI layouts.

Applying data visualization techniques to transform complex information into clean, impactful infographic designs.

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (a preference for Design or a related field).

4+ years of professional experience within an agency or corporate in-house creative environment.

A proven track record of career stability.

Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.

Office Suite: Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced, essential expertise in PowerPoint, alongside Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Accessibility & Web Knowledge: Fluent in accessibility design best practices. Strong technical understanding of how web-based technologies (HTML, CSS), website structures, and app development apply to web design.

Data Visualization: Demonstrated ability to build sophisticated data visualizations and infographics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead creative briefs and present concepts to corporate stakeholders.

Strong collaboration skills and a team-player mindset.

Experience in the banking or financial services sector is considered a strong asset.

Summary
This is a time-sensitive opportunity to elevate your design career with a top-tier financial institution. Offering a highly desirable hybrid schedule in downtown Toronto, a structured one-week training period, and strong potential for long-term contract extension or permanent conversion, this 14-month role is ideal for a collaborative designer ready to make an immediate impact. Don't miss out on joining this fantastic team—apply today by submitting your resume and a maximum of 10 relevant portfolio samples showcasing your current branding and design work!
