Job description
Adecco is currently hiring Mechanical Assemblers for full-time opportunities in Pembroke, ON. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a production environment and contributing to the assembly of high-quality personal protective products.
If you have strong attention to detail, experience with assembly or sewing, and enjoy working with tools and equipment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing operations team.
  • Salary: $18.50 - $19.50/hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Pembroke, ON
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday (9-hour shifts) + short day on Friday (40 hours/week - Day shifts)
  • Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Operate production line equipment to assemble or sew personal protective products
  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished units using hand and power tools
  • Cut materials and prepare components as required
  • Drill, tap, or ream holes using drill presses or portable tools
  • Align and fasten components using bolts, screws, or rivets
  • Test or assist in testing completed products to ensure proper functionality
  • Inspect products to maintain quality standards
  • Repair or rework units that do not meet specifications
  • Mount and assemble electrical or mechanical components where required
  • Assist junior operators with tasks and training support
  • Perform detailed assembly work using microscopes or magnifying tools when needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow all safety procedures
  • Support additional production tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly and/or sewing experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Understanding of machine safety features and safe operating procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work overtime when required
