Our client is a recognized leader in ground transportation freight, known for their commitment to excellence and innovation in logistics. They are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinators to join their teams in Lachine, Montreal, QC.
About the Role :
As a Logistics Coordinator , you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless transportation and coordination of goods, either via ground freight or intermodal solutions. You will manage day-to-day logistics operations, working closely with carriers, clients, and internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with carriers and negotiate rates to secure cost-effective transport solutions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for freight and intermodal shipments.
- Proactively address any transportation issues or delays, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients.
