What you will do We have an exciting opportunity to join our Controls Department as we are actively recruiting for a Controls Designer . This position reports to the Controls Design Supervisor. We apply state of the art technology to the design and manufacture of robotic weld lines, configurable fastener welding, configured welding products, welding guns / electrodes, welding cylinders and other accessories. Your responsibilities will include Design controls for custom machinery, robotic processes, and CenterLine integrated products Ensure adherence to applicable federal, provincial, state and local codes, standards and laws, including buut not limited to : NEC, NFPA79, OSHA, CEC, CSA Z432, Z434, ANSI RIA 15.07, TSSA, ISO 13849, etc. Comply with customer specifications Develop controls line-up information from mechanical design resources Design 575-480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC systems, including sizing, component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design communication network topology, including component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design robot interfaces, including component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design machine I / O structures, layouts, component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design machine enclosures from high voltage distribution to low voltage distribution and communication networks Design pneumatic systems, including sizing, component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design water cooling systems, including sizing, component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design lubrication systems, including sizing, component selection, schematic creation, and material release Design hydraulic systems, including sizing, component selection, schematic creation, and material release Compile information for build, including pipefitter build files, customer specifications, schematics, and bill of materials Interface with electrical and pipefitting team during the build process Provide troubleshooting assistance Advise divisions concerning product integration Advise CenterLine Global Affiliates (CGAs) Communicate with customers regarding design, deviations, and specifications Support field analysis of existing customer equipment for reutilization What you need to succeed Ability to work effectively in a team environment Maintain an excellent attitude in all situations Demonstrates a great work ethic and dedication Shows genuine passion and enthusiasm for the job Technical diploma or Engineering degree in a controls-related field Working knowledge of MS Office Additional Benefits Company matching pension plan Continued education opportunities Employee Assistance Plan Employee Profit-Sharing Bonus Health, dental, and vision care Life insurance Retirement benefits Social Committee Tuition reimbursement Perks Wellness Committee Interested candidates are requested to submit their resume in confidence to : CenterLine (Windsor) Limited 415 Morton Drive, Windsor, On.
