Kuehne+NagelMississauga, Ontario, CanadaJOB DESCRIPTION Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga site is looking for a new Local Super User to join our Contract Logistics team.
Your Role
As Local Super User you will provide support for operations to effectively utilize our Internal Systems in order to service customers. This position is responsible for training, supporting, and administration of the computer systems that our CL warehouse operations utilize, including but not limited to KN Swiftlog, Ciel FW FD, Logistar, and Maves. This role will typically specialize in supporting a specific WMS but knowledge of multiple WMS would be beneficial.
Your Responsibilities
- Train and support on KN SwiftLOG related topics and attached applications (eg. PCIP / WMS / Business Objects).
- Maintenance of training documentation and working instructions for IS / IT.
- Participate in new customer implementations.
- Participate in joint continuous improvement initiatives with operations.
- System validation - ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements. Participate in quality and compliance audits.
- Release management - perform testing for regular software updates to the WMS
- Data extraction and report management.
- Work in conjunction with KNPS engineer in regards to system automated, KPI / data reporting.
- Management of user logins and profiles.
- Help desk support and monitor ticketing queues (RT).
- Representing the Information System department in all interactions with the client and operations.
