Scope of the Position

Flex-N-Gate is seeking skilled and experienced Certified Millwrights for our Bradford facility. If you want to work with leaders in the automotive industry, this position is for you.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery upon arrival, unload parts, and assemble using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Relocate unassembled equipment, positioning machinery with hoists, dollies, and trucks.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines with hammers, crowbars, wrenches, and other tools.
• Align machines during installation using hoists, jacks, squares, rulers, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Use a lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to specifications.
• Assemble machinery by bolting, welding, riveting, or fastening to foundations.
• Follow assembly and installation instructions from vendor manuals and specifications.
• Repair issues with new equipment.
• Fabricate machine parts if original parts are missing or damaged.
• Identify and correct problems in machines, equipment, or processes to facilitate production.
• Lead and direct Millwright B and C to ensure task completion.
• Follow safety policies, quality standards, and SOPs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
• Perform minor electrical repairs.
• Maintain all machines and plant equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
