YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be part of the Warehouse Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Ensure the safety of the team by applying a zero-harm approach to all tasks performed;
• Work with the Ontario Buying Team Lead, Inventory Lead, and Logistics / Warehouse Supervisors to develop new service strategies that would best suit the needs of the organization;
• Develop Logistics and Warehouse Management Strategies that will enhance current systems in place;
• Ensure that the SOX requirements are met on a monthly and annual basis;
• Develop and report on Warehouse & Logistics statistics;
• Ensure that all materials entering the mine site, follow the proper receiving procedures in place, and ensure that dangerous goods are registered in our Safety Data Sheets online library;
• Assist in developing robust Asset Disposal and Obsolescence management strategies that will assist the organization in ensuring the appropriate items and quantities are properly managed and processed;
• Assist and manage Waste Disposal processes with assistance of Environment and Sustainability;
• Examine and implement various inventory management tools such as, VMI, consignment, vending machines, etc.;
• Manage the LTL Carriers of choice and ensure materials are being delivered in a timely fashion;
• Manage the logistics for the organization and ensure that freight contractors are in place for key consumables;
• Monitor and manage warehouse budget.
