What You’ve Accomplished

You have completed a Bachelors of Laws (LBB) or a Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have at least 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate environment. You are admitted, or eligible for admission, to practice law in Ontario and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

• Proven capability to negotiate terms and conditions while minimizing risks to the company
• Demonstrate advanced legal knowledge and counsel

• Demonstrate willingness and ability to expand duties and responsibilities
• Experience in contract, M&A / joint venture, intellectual property and business transactional is preferred
• Experience with the energy industry, Canadian export regulations, employment and labor law, and / or Indigenous Law are a plus

As a Legal Counselor in Pickering, Ontario (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Legal Business Line in the Corporate Business Unit.
