Location : Various locations across Nova Scotia
As Legal Counsel / General Counsel you will provide comprehensive legal advice to a corporation ensuring all business activities are compliant with legal standards. You will oversee legal operations manage external counsel and address a wide range of legal matters from contracts to regulatory issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance regulatory compliance and business strategy.
- Draft review and negotiate contracts agreements and other legal documents.
- Manage litigation disputes and other legal proceedings involving the company.
- Oversee the company s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work closely with senior management to identify and mitigate legal risks.
