Our company is partnering with a well-established litigation law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its practice on an urgent basis.

This is a senior-level opportunity for a litigator who thrives in complex commercial disputes and is looking for meaningful responsibility, client contact, and long-term stability. The firm is seeking someone who can step in and run files with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with leadership on strategy.

Position: Commercial Litigation Lawyer
Experience Required: 8+ years
Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 base salary Open to higher compensation for the right experience
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (office-based with flexibility)

The Opportunity

• Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Take a lead role on files involving business disputes, contracts, shareholder issues, and related commercial matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, facta, and other substantive court materials

• Manage discoveries, mediations, and settlement negotiations

• Appear before courts regularly and contribute to trial strategy and preparation

• Maintain direct client relationships and provide strategic legal advice

• Mentor and support junior lawyers as needed

Ideal Background

• 8+ years of commercial litigation experience

• Strong experience running files independently

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high expectations

• Active license and good standing with the applicable Law Society
