Custom Diamond is an Equipment Manufacturing Founded in 1932, we are a trusted leader in custom food service equipment manufacturing specialized in designing and building high-quality stainless steel and premium millwork solutions, combining craftsmanship, precision, and innovation to deliver exceptional products tailored to our Clients needs, We are seeking a motivated Purchase Manager, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing / Production process. This position requires a strong understanding of procurement strategies. The Purchase Manager will work closely with various departments to identify sourcing needs, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Manage the Purchase process for Production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels using ERP system.
Maintain accurate records of purchase activities in the system for reporting purposes.
Foster strong relationships with vendors to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in sourcing or procurement roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
Base knowledge with ERP systems for procurement activities.
Good negotiation skills with the ability.
Strong analytical skills to assess pricing structures.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus but not required.
