Reporting directly to theCEO, this exciting new role will see the successful candidate perform administrative andpractical support duties for the CEO in particular, and senior management more generally.This important role will require someone who is proactive, discreet, adaptable, highly organized,and a superb communicator who thrives on building a culture of collaboration and success.What we’re looking for : - A dynamic self-starter to work closely with the CEO to oversee the creation andimplementation of all corporate strategies and business places, from conception torealization, as well as identifying and implementing refinements in the organization’sstructure and practices to improve efficiency.- Someone to regularly assess the employee base to find and address any knowledgeand skill gaps, to maximize the effectiveness of each aspect of our team and create aplan to enhance their professional development.- An excellent communicator to maintain information flow between the CEO andmanagement, staff and all stakeholders to ensure consistency of messaging andoutcomes.- A relationship builder, who can seamlessly shift into the role as a surrogate for the CEOin day-to-day corporate operations, as well as for presentations and executive meetings.- A consummate professional who can work alongside senior managers and departmentheads, on behalf of the CEO, to ensure adherence to timelines, that employee well-being is a priority and that corporate policies are followed.- Organizational acumen : a stickler for documentation, a planner who can pull togethermeetings and special presentations, and someone who can develop a ‘Jack of AllTrades’ knowledge of the entire operation to act as a resource for staff, managementand outside stakeholders / clients, and speak on behalf of the CEO when necessary.What you bring to the table : - An MBA or equivalent degree.- Seven to 10 years’ experience working for a robust, growing, medium-sized company ina management role, with preference to candidates with time spent in the construction,real estate or development sectors.- The proven ability to speak and act on behalf of an entire organization to management,staff, outside stakeholders and the general public, including acting as a representative atmeetings, conferences or special events.- Some experience as a consultant, with a focus on operational analysis and systemsmanagement, including data and budget management.- Demonstrated success leading and directing multiple teams and departments, while alsoleading organization-wide strategic initiatives that seek to enhance collaboration andefficiencies.- A proven history of project management success.- Superior written and verbal communication skills, especially in the areas of corporatereporting and interdepartmental communications.- An agile and adaptive business mind and a reputation as an innovative and creativeproblem solver.
