Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at CTVRC / EC! Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, supportive environment?  Central Toronto Veterinary and Referral & Emergency Clinic (CTVRC / EC) is seeking a dedicated RVT to join our Emergency Care Service. Anticipated Schedules : Overnights available Three 12-hour shifts Rotational weekends, most likely every other weekend Compensation : $26 - $35 Based on experience & skill set $2 shift premiums between 7 PM and 7 AM. What You’ll Do : Triage and Assess : Perform triage duties and document evaluations for animals with critical conditions, including shock, acute illness, trauma, and toxicity. Advanced Medical Procedures : Execute advanced procedures like thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, epidurals, and more, with the support of our experienced team. Nursing Care : Provide top-notch nursing care to in-house and out-patients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy. Surgical Support : Assist in full-scope surgery services from prep to post-op recovery, ensuring the highest standards of care. Qualifications : New graduates are welcome! Graduation from an OAVT-accredited college program. Passed or in the process of writing the VTNE. OAVT membership in good standing. Collaborative clinical approach and excellent communication skills. Commitment to patient care, customer service, respect, and accountability. Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role. Benefits : ​​​OAVT annual dues reimbursement.
