Job descriptionMinimum 5 years of Interior Design experience. Proficiency with technical software : advanced REVIT, BIM, Enscape and / or twinmotion 3D rendering Excellent knowledge of design documentation, detailing, building materials, and the Building Code; Ability to perform site verification, site measurements, furniture inventory and equipment inventory A strong portfolio demonstrating significant design skills on projects from concept through completion Strong conceptual design and presentation experience through the use of Revit / or other 3D; or graphic design programs Ability to direct the work of Junior Designers to ensure the successful completion of projects. Ability to manage smaller-scale projects with little supervision and direction
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and focused individual with a minimum of 5 years of Interiors experience to join our Toronto office. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded interiors experience and a demonstrated passion for the development of design solutions. The ideal applicant will have experience in a variety of project typologies including institutional, residential, workplace and FFE along with the ability to multi-task in a busy Architectural office.

Key Responsibilities
- Ability to coordinate architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural consultants, and other consultants or vendors.
- Prepare working contract documents, plans, details and schedules, using Revit software
- Exercise their expertise and strong knowledge of furniture materials and finishes.
- Must have experience working on multiple projects
- Must have a strong design understanding and experience in reviewing design documents
- Mentor and support junior design team members
- Co-ordinate and / or undertake the selection and specification of furniture systems, fixtures and
- equipment
- Prepare and co-ordinate project schematic / conceptual design drawings
- Prepare required layouts, sketches and space plans required to convey design intent
- Interface and communicate in consultants meetings, support a senior designer in client presentations and site visits;
- Coordinate and / or undertake the preparation of required project documents, minutes, schedules and specifications.
- Attend on-site visits and field reviews and direct contractors and vendors as required.
- Prepare working contract documents, plans, details and schedules, using Revit software
- Co-ordinate and / or undertake the selection and specification of furniture systems, fixtures and equipment
