Job description1-3 years of experience in wills and estates , civil litigation , and / or family law . Strong understanding of the law and legal processes in the respective practice areas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of organization and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Must have a driver's license and must be willing to travel to courthouses in the Greater Edmonton Area and beyond. We are seeking a driven and professional Associate to join our dynamic team in Edmonton. If you are passionate about the law, committed to excellence, and eager to contribute to a respected law firm, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and represent clients in complex litigation matters involving wills and estates, civil disputes, and family law issues.
- Provide legal advice and guidance, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and other necessary court filings.
- Advocate on behalf of clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, offering exceptional customer service.

This position is structured on a fee split basis , offering flexibility and strong earning potential based on your performance. However, for newly called lawyers, a salary plus bonus option is also available.
