Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON is currently looking for a Licensed or 3rd Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic (Truck and Coach Technician 310T) to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining / repairing heavy diesel equipment within the facility. RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner. * Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments. * Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs. * Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. * Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs. * Complete repair orders. * Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles. * Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor. * Complete warranty information. * Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts. * Carry out housekeeping duties. * Complete required documentation and daily samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS * Licensed/Journeyman or 3rd Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic (310T License). * 3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. * Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset. * Previous experience working on Class 8 trucks and tankers trailers is an asset. * Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software. * Class G Driver's License required. 40-years of sustainability in action.
