The role :
The Online Banking Development team is tasked with developing, integrating and maintaining the software components and applications of Meridian’s Digital banking technology and infrastructure. The team’s function involves working closely with the Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Digital Banking and Dev / Ops teams to develop quality solutions.
The successful candidate will design, code, unit test, document, implement, and provide ongoing support for web applications. The candidate will be responsible for the rapid development, integration and deployment of web applications for online banking solutions that leverage cutting‑edge development technologies. The candidate must have a strong background in software development and programming.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will :
- Develop and implement web applications for existing website, and other web-related projects.
- Perform a variety of technical tasks, including design, architecture, programming, maintenance, unit testing, and documentation of web based application.
- Design, implement, and maintain the components required for complex application features.
- Integrate third party software into existing applications and infrastructure.
- Unit test applications.
- Providing ongoing support for deployed applications.

Salary Range
CAD $68,800 – $103,200 annually. Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
Office Location
Toronto Corporate Office with the ability to travel to our St. Catharines office as needed. This is a hybrid work opportunity. Meridian has a remote work policy that allows flexibility for employees to work remotely but also requires a minimum of one day per week in the office for purposeful meetings to collaborate, innovate and build effective relationships with your team, your colleagues and your leader which is important to us.
