Le Support est un organisme de charité à but non lucratif, fondé en 2002. Notre mission est de promouvoir le développement durable (social, économique et écologique) en favorisant l'implication sociale citoyenne dans le but d'améliorer la qualité de vie des gens démunis en offrant des biens de consommation à faible coût via les dons recueillis auprès de la population. Nous avons bâti, au fil des années, un solide réseau avec les partenaires communautaires et gens d'affaires de la région qui nous permet de donner aux gens démunis des articles essentiels et des vêtements. Nous aidons, chaque année, plusieurs personnes et des familles dans le besoin à s'équiper et s'habiller. Venez faire la différence et rejoignez notre équipe!
Description de l’offre d’emploi
- Optimiser le recyclage des matières (Rideaux, napes, fourrure, cuir, ratine, coton, linge à vaisselle etc…)
- Détacher et faire la lessive des vêtements, ainsi que des draps, douillettes etc…
- Mesurer rideaux, draps, douillettes, tapis, napes et literies pour adultes et enfants.
- Vérifier et faire réparer s’il y a lieu ce qui appartient à l’atelier.
- Étiqueter les produits pour la mise en magasin (Trouver les bons prix à l’aide du cartable, inscrire les bonnes mesures, créer le bon set concernant les sets de drap etc…)
- Placer au magasin tous ce qui est étiqueté.
- En collaboration avec la couturière, vérifier si les tissus reçu seront mis en magasin ou utiliser à la production.
- Valider si les oreillers et coussin sont bon pour la récupération de la mousse ou pour la vente en magasin.
- Vérifier sacs de couchage, chaises en mousse pour enfant, boutons, écussons, collets fourrures et capuchons, les ceintures, cravates, bric à brac.
- Accueillir chaleureusement les bénévoles et travailleurs compensatoires, leur offrir une atmosphère de travail plaisante pour eux.
- Bien ranger et entretenir le département.
- Tenir les espaces de production toujours accessibles et fonctionnels (prêt à être utilisés).
- Entretien quotidien et hebdomadaire du matériel et des outils de travail. Et aviser son supérieur en cas de défectuosité.
- Savoir distinguer différents des tissus.
- Être en mesure de se servir d’un galon à mesurer.
- Être en mesure de lever des poches d'environ 20 lbs
- Distinguer les pouces / pieds et les centimètres / mètres.
- Savoir lire et écrire les chiffres.
