Job descriptionTechnical education related to mechanical or structural engineering. Relevant previous design and drafting experience in producing subsea structural fabrication within the Marine and / or Oil and Gas industry, including work at Lead / Senior level. Ability to assign, oversee, check, and approve the work of a team on a project. Ability to prioritize own workload and manage time accordingly to meet time / budget constraints. Produces work of presentable quality. Experience in the use of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D & Vault Good working knowledge of Excel. Sound communication skills in English and French, both verbally and written.#LI-AB1 Make sure your CV is up-to-date and highlights the transferable skills and experience you can bring to this role. Job Description What will you be doing?
Prepare design / fabrication drawings of steel structures using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software.
Manage the drafting work of a team of designers on a project :
- Project resources management
- Project budget control
- Organize and prioritize work for self and the team
- Check all drawings
- Interface with project discipline leads to ensure CAD deliverable schedule is being met
- Ensure project team comply with company QA and HSE procedures.
- Actively help to guide, train, and develop more junior personnel.
