Production Supervisor - Day

Job description :

Located in Montérégie Ouest, this company has been in business for over 40 years. Today, it employs no fewer than 80 people in the soybean sector. It has extensive warehousing and screening facilities, and exports internationally. The role of Production Supervisor is a key role in the company and reports to the Plant Manager.

Main responsibilities :

• Daytime schedule Monday to Friday (may receive calls outside working hours)
• Organize, motivate, train and direct production teams to achieve objectives according to needs and priorities.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and occupational health and safety rules
• Supports employees on a daily basis
• Participates in production management according to deadlines, constraints and schedules with the operations team and members of the management team
• Ensures quality control, continuous improvement and equipment maintenance
• Environment that can be hot, cold, enclosed, working at heights and occasionally outdoors must be able to adapt to changes
